How my Christmas Eve/Day go!

I thought it would be fun to tell you how my Christmas Eve/Day go! I'm not trying to brag! I don't know how this would be bragging but I thought I would say that anyway.

So on Christmas Eve after we get up and have breakfast we start to clean. We clean a lot all day! Around 2 we have a small lunch and then we start to get ready for church. After everyone is ready we go to church. The mass starts at 4 and ends at 5. After mass my whole moms side of the family goes to my aunt and uncles house. There the adults talk while all the kids and teens hang out downstairs. We eat tons of cookies! After about an hour they call us up to open presents. First my 2 and 4 year old cousins open and we all watch. Then my 7 year old cousin and my 8 year old brother open. Then my 9 year old cousin and my 9 year old sister open. Then me and my 12 year old sister open. And finally my 13 and 16 year old cousins. After we all open our presents from our aunts, uncles and grandparents, we open our present from our parents. Every year we get Christmas pj's from our parents. We all change into our pj's and then hang out for about another hour. Soon its time for everyone to go. Now its around 8. When my family gets home we have a small dinner and my siblings and I head up to my sisters room. (We all sleep together on Christmas eve). My parents stay downstairs so they can "clean". My 12 year old sister falls asleep right away. Soon after my 9 year old sister falls asleep. My brother and I stay up all night talking about Christmas and trying to figure out what "Santa" got us.

Around 5:30 am on Christmas morning my siblings and I go get my parents up. My mom is normally already up however my dad doesn't want to get up. My mom goes downstairs to find her video camera and start the coffee. She makes us wait for like 10 minutes before we can finally come down. When we go downstairs we each have our presents set up in a different section (I'll post pics on Christmas). We have our stocking, 1 or 2 unwrapped presents and then about 20 wrapped presents. We all examine our unwrapped present and then start to go through our stocking. After all 6 of us have gone through our stockings (8 if you include the dogs) we start to open presents. The way we open presents is we go in a circle and take turns. One of us starts and then we go in a clockwise circle from there. We take our time and try to make it last as long as possible. We start opening around 6 and finish around 7:30 or 8. After we open presents we have a small breakfast and then just hang out. On Christmas pretty much every rule can be broken. We can eat as many sweets as we want and do whatever we want with out asking. We hang out all day and then its over. But the good news is that for us the 26th is exactly the same minus opening presents. Oh and by the way we do have a Christmas dinner I just left it out.

I love Christmas and I cannot wait! I'll take tons of pics on Christmas and I will be posting a video of everything I got.
